Terms

1. Scope and provider

These conditions apply to all orders placed through orvain.com. The provider is ORVAIN, Mainzer Straße 24, 55232 Alzey, Germany. We sell exclusively to consumers and traders within Germany.

2. Formation of contract

The presentation of the products is not a binding offer but an invitation to order. By clicking “Order with obligation to pay” you submit a binding offer. The contract comes into effect when we expressly confirm the order or dispatch the goods.

3. Prices

All prices are final prices in euros. Pursuant to § 19 UStG no value added tax is charged and therefore none is shown. Shipping costs are shown separately before the order is completed.

4. Shipping and delivery time

Standard shipping within Germany is free of charge. The delivery time is 2 to 4 working days from receipt of payment.

Express is available as an alternative for €18.90 with a delivery time of 1 to 2 working days.

Stated delivery times are expected times. If delivery is delayed, we will inform you without undue delay.

5. Payment

Payment is made via Stripe. Which payment methods are available is shown during the ordering process. The amount falls due upon completion of the order.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a right of withdrawal of fourteen days. The details and the model withdrawal form are set out in our withdrawal policy. We bear the cost of the return.

7. Warranty

The statutory provisions on liability for defects apply. The limitation period for claims based on defects is two years from handover of the goods.

Signs of use arising from normal wear are not a defect. 316L stainless steel is hard-wearing, but not scratch-proof.

8. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until payment has been made in full.

9. Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

10. Final provisions

German law applies. For consumers this choice of law applies only to the extent that it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the state of their habitual residence.

Should any provision be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains effective.
