Size & fit

Finding the right length

Fit decides more about the impression than the form does. A bracelet lying on the back of the hand looks borrowed – however well it is made.

Measuring, in three steps

  1. Place a tape measure or a narrow strip of paper around your wrist, where the bracelet is meant to sit.
  2. Pull it so it rests against the skin without cutting in.
  3. Read the measurement in centimetres, and repeat it once.

Do not measure over a jumper or over a watch. Both distort the result by more than you would expect.

How to tell a good fit

A bracelet sits correctly when you can slide one flat finger between the bracelet and your wrist. If it slips over the wrist bone, it is too long. If it leaves a mark after an hour, it is too short.

Our lengths

All four forms are 18 cm long and have a lobster clasp with an extender. How far the extender reaches has not been measured yet – once it is settled, the figure will stand here and on every product page. Until then we publish no table that nobody has checked against a real bracelet.

If you are between two sizes

Write to contact@orvain.com and tell us your wrist measurement. We will tell you what we know – and what we do not. If it still does not fit: fourteen days to return it, and we pay the postage.
